About Your Practitioner
Chris Holmes BA(Hons) SQHP HPD DipCAH MNCH
Since launching Central Hypnotherapy at the turn of the new millennium, I have personally helped thousands of clients achieve their goals. My interest in hypnotherapy developed after studying the fascinating - but really rather mysterious - teachings of French psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan during postgraduate studies at university. My initial hypnotherapy training was with the respected Washington School of Clinical and Advanced Hypnosis, gaining their Diploma in Clinical and Advanced Hypnosis in 2000. I remain committed to ongoing professional development and still enjoy taking further training courses in various aspects of hypnotherapy and related subjects whenever time allows, as well as teaching on courses myself.
2010 sees the launch of a new venture, Central Hypnotherapy Training, through which I will be passing on some of the knowledge and expertise I have acquired from the last decade of practical hypnotherapy experience together with the assurance of years of lecturing experience in Higher Education (1993-1999). My guiding principle is the belief that becoming a true master of the art of hypnotherapy is a lifelong commitment.
