Reduce Alcohol Consumption

Hypnotherapy is the quickest and easiest way to get out of difficulty with alcohol. Cravings for alcohol can be shut down immediately with hypnosis and the habit either halted completely or changed. There is no other way to do this in a single event: it can only be done by a hypnotherapist who specialises in this type of therapy. Stopping altogether is one option, cutting out the excess is another and taking a break from alcohol is also a popular choice, after which we re-introduce it, but without the excess. Some people require another session later to maintain their success, some do not.

Nervous about the prospect of having hypnotherapy because you think you're going to be asleep or not in control?  Worry not! You are never asleep and are always in control.  The experience is much more ordinary than you think it's going to be - it's the results that are exciting, not the process itself.

Now don't worry if you have tried to change your drinking habit before and not succeeded!  That is because compulsive habits like drinking are difficult to break with willpower.  Hypnosis gets around this by getting information directly to the part of the mind that controls the craving system and all habitual behaviour: the Subconscious.  Drink habits are often referred to as addiction or dependence, but hypnotherapy proves them to be just a compulsive habit by shutting them down in one session.

Quite a lot of our behaviour is automatic repetition of what we usually do, and this is one of many responsibilities of the Subconscious part of the brain.  The trouble is, if you make a new conscious decision to change the behaviour, the Subconscious doesn't know - so it carries on trying to direct the usual routine through the craving system, prompting you to do what you usually do, and all you have to throw at this is willpower, which is notoriously unreliable when it comes to breaking habits!   more about this

No problem: all we need to do is get the message to the Subconscious mind that the automatic repetition is no longer required and it will shut down the habit and the cravings at the same time.  Call now on 0161 474 8120 (Office Hours), or call/text any time, ant day on 07748 838 644 and ask for Chris.
